DIRECTOR

Born in Redondo Beach California, raised in Harbor City, Kyle B. Stephens grew up with a fascination of storytelling. An LA-based Director specializing in scripted narrative feature films and new media content, including shorts, music videos, and episodic narrative projects. His notable works include: “The Dirty Animal”, a low budget short film where he’s credited as the Director and Writer. “Happy for You” , a music video produced by likeable songs and “Human Remains”, a web series where he directed the pilot, establishing the shows tone and visual style.

While studying industrial design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Kyle took an interest in the film program. He supplemented his credits with some of the schools film courses and switched his focus to studying the craft.

​As a designer, Kyle has a keen eye for the fundamentals when it comes to composing within a frame. His work as a Script Supervisor also allows him to have a good sense of how a scene will cut together while actively shooting on set. This knowledge allows for a smooth approach in the decision making process.
